Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, logging in, or using Kineo ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Service immediately.
BYOK responsibility
Kineo operates under a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. All video generation costs are billed directly to your official compute provider (currently fal.ai) via your own API key, and Kineo charges no compute markups. You are solely responsible for securing your key, monitoring your spending, and revoking your key immediately if it is compromised.
Acceptable use & authorization
You agree not to generate illegal, infringing, harassing, deceptive, or impersonating content. Crucial authorization policy: When using the "Custom Photo-to-Avatar" or "Voice Cloning" features, you represent and warrant that you have obtained explicit legal authorization from the person involved. Unauthorized impersonation is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend any account that violates these rules.
Generated content ownership
You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights of all videos generated under your account; Kineo claims no ownership over your content. You grant us a limited, global, royalty-free license solely to store and render your videos. We may collect anonymized, aggregate statistics to improve the product.
Disclaimer
Kineo is provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis during beta. Due to the limitations of generative AI, generations may fail, stall, or produce unexpected results. Kineo bears no responsibility for charges incurred on your official compute provider — we provide a "Cancel" button in the workspace so you can stop active tasks anytime and prevent wasted compute.
Amendments
We may update these Terms as our product and the regulatory landscape evolve. Material changes will be announced on the platform or via email before they take effect.
